Center characteristics and planning

The Center is established with a Director, who is appointed by the President for a renewable term of two years. The present director is Professor Der-Ray Huang, chair professor from the Department of Opto-Electronic Engineering.
The structure of the center is currently set up with energy technology group, energy education and energy services group. Their main projects are summarized as follows.

The future of Center

The center will integrate the operation of internal and external resources for future research projects. Related research projects such as National energy program (National Science Council), Industry-university cooperation program (Bureau of Energy/Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs), and some research projects in cooperation with Industrial and international cooperation program. We hope that the National Dong Hwa University can have a major breakthrough in new energy research.
